    Itinerary

    Day 1Arrive in Tamale Airport

    Morning:

    Travel to Mole National Park 2.5–3 hr drive to Mole).

    Check-in options:

    • Zaina Lodge 2 Star
    • Mole Motel 1 Star 

    Afternoon:

    • Relax at your lodge.
      Enjoy a sunset safari drive with a park guide. Expect to see:
      Elephants, antelopes, baboons, warthogs, and more.

    Evening:

    • Dinner with a view over the Mole landscape.
    • Optional: Night walk safari or relax by the pool.

    Day 2Morning Safari + Mognori Eco-Village and experience shea butter processing

    Early Morning:

    Join a walking safari with an armed ranger.
    The best time to spot elephants at waterholes and observe early bird activity.

    Late Morning:

    • Breakfast and rest at the lodge.

    Afternoon:

    • Canoe Safari on the Mole River (seasonal)
    • Learn about local shea butter production
    • Traditional drumming/dancing or herbal medicine tour

    Evening:

    • Return to lodge for dinner.
    • Optional: Star-gazing or storytelling with locals.

    Day 3Larabanga + Damongo

    Morning:

    • Visit Larabanga Mosque – Ghana’s oldest mosque, built in Sudano-Sahelian style (est. 1421).
    • Stop by the Mystic Stone nearby – a sacred cultural site.

    Afternoon:

    Head to Damongo town:

    • Visit the Savannah Regional Museum ( Jakpa Palace )
    • Eat local dishes like Tuo Zaafi or Wasawasa.

    Evening:

    • Return to your lodge.
    • Enjoy your final Mole sunset with drinks or local grilled tilapia.

    Day 4Daboya textiles

    Visit the Gonjaland region to learn about the Gonja people.

    • Tour the Kpalbe royal palace or sacred sites.

    Day 5Final Safari + Departure
